Down Payment Assistance Programs

Did you know that your City or County may have funds available to help you with your down payment and/or closing costs?

In many areas, first-time home buyers can receive assistance with down payment and closing costs from local community agencies. These loans are known as "Community Seconds." In some cases, the money available through these programs can reduce your mortgage amount and assist you with lowering your down payment and closing costs.   Some cities and counties do not require repayment of this loan if certain terms and conditions are met. If a Community Seconds program is available in your neighborhood, Countrywide can help you take full advantage of it.
